With Manyoni Game Reserve’s undulating terrain, the thrill of big five wilderness and an expert running guide, Wild Again is now offering guests seeking a more active safari the opportunity for a fully immersive bush running experience.
These safaris last anywhere from 2-4 nights depending on the chosen option. Running routes vary from scenic 5km – 21km each morning depending on the group’s interests and capabilities with evening game drives. All levels of fitness welcome.
Bruce Arnott or Roan Du Plessis, both expert trail runners and qualified trails guides, will privately guide the group to keep guests safe, inspired and to tailor-make the experience.
For more seasoned runners, routes can be extended beyond 21km with up to 700m elevation gain. The views from the tops of the hills are vast and epic, making the climbs worthwhile.
Manyoni Private Game Reserve offers 23 000 hectares of big five wilderness where over 70 species of mammals, including cheetah, wild dog and hyena roam free. You will be trailed by a lodge vehicle just within eye shot should you feel uncomfortable or need support.
